The NSC portal offers online employability and digital skill enhancement programmes. The NSC digital platform acts as a one-stop digital platform offering career counseling, job matching, vocational guidance, and skill development information for both private and public sector opportunities.

01) Biggest User Base –
A) Recently the user base of NCS is the all time biggest.
B) It is reported that there are over 6 crore jobseekers and at about 55 lakh employers have been registered.
C) NCS platform became a critical and comprehensive employment platform managed by the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
02) Massive increase in Vacancies
A) As per the report it has been seen that the NCS portal saw a massive increase of vacancies.
B) At about 175 percent increase in vacancies as compare to vacancies in 2022 – 2023.
C) The news shows that there are at about 36 lakh vacancies reported alone in year 2022.
03) Strategic Partnerships –
A) The Ministry of Labour and Employment has launched the digital portal with a private partner
B) The portal is partnered with private platforms like TCS iON ( a unit of Tata Consultancy Services) and FoundIt (formerly known as Monster)
C) The main purpose to create this portal is to boost job opportunities and potentially adding 10 lakh more jobs annually.

A) This digital portal is also integrated with AI features
B) The AI helps to the job seekers with resume builders and chatbots
C) The AI integration facility helps to improve the user experience by skill gap analysis tools.

A) This digital platform gives an opportunity to the jobseekers with features roles across diverse sectors such as IT, Manufacturing and Finance
