What is in the news recently about Reunion Island?

As per the leading newspapers of the country stated that the ships of the Indian Navy INS Tir (The first training squadron) and ICGS Sarathi arrived at Reunion Island on 08 September 2025 while INS Shardul reached Port Louis, Mauritius. The ships are reached there as the part of their long-range training deployment in the southwest Indian Ocean Region. The ships are docked at the Naval Port of La Reunion following a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with a French Navy ship.
