The Exercise “Desert Cyclone” a joint military exercise was organized in Abu Dhabi in the late December 2025 between India and UAE. The Indian Army and UAE Land Forces took part in this exercise. This two weeks long exercise was organized to focus on enhancing interoperability and operational synergy in urban operations and built-up areas. The aim of the exercise was to enhance interoperability and foster defence cooperation between the Indian Army and the UAE Land Forces through joint training in an urban environment with a focus on sub-conventional operations under a United Nations mandate. This exercise was build to make enable both forces to operate together in peacekeeping, counter-terrorism and stability operations.
