Union Public Service Commission Released the e-Admit Card for the Recruitment of Examination for Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination, 2021

The Examination for the recruitment in the services for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination (CGGE) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year. The Combined Geo-Scientist Exam (CGGE) is for the recruitment and selection to the post of Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist Group ‘A’ in GSI and Junior Hydro-Geologist  (Scientist ‘B’), Group ‘A’ for Central Ground Water Board of the Central Civil Services under Government of India. Lakhs of candidates applied for a limited number of posts or it can be say like this that the lakhs of the aspirants take the examination to get success for this prestigious job. Mostly the UPSC has adopted the plan to conduct every examination. The plan adopted by the commission is like this examination. The UPSC has completed the whole recruitment process into three rounds. The first round of examination is contacted in the from of Round-I is Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination. It is a Objective Type Papers. The purpose behind to conduct this paper is to select the suitable/qualified candidates for the Main Exam. Round-II is Geo-Scientist (Main/Stage-II) Examination. This main paper is a Conventional Type Papers. Last and the Round-III is Personality Test . Now the Commission is going to conduct the first process of the examination for Combined Geo-Scientist Examination – 2021 and published to download the e-Admit card for the exam. The applicants who had already for the above mentioned exam can download their admit card to appear in the preliminary exam for Combined Geo-Scientist from the direct link mentioned in the blog.

As it is already mention above that the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a official notification that the applicants can download the e-admit card for Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Exam 2021 (CGGE 1 2021) on their official website @ upsc.gov.in. The line to download the e-Admit Card is already started from 01 February 2021 and will be available till 22nd February 2021. The applicant can download their Admit card from the official link @ hpsconline.nic.in. (Direct link is available in the Important Links Area in this blog)

Steps to Download the e-admit card

01) The candidate must go to the official website of UPSC i.e.upsc.gov.in. 02) The candidate must click on button “View All” under “What’s New” section. 03) The new page will appear on the screen the candidate must click on the link “e – Admit Card – Combined Geo-Scientist Examination (I), 2021” 04) The system will redirect to a new page where the candidate need to click on the ‘Click Here’ link. 05) Afterwards the system will redirect to a new web page where the candidate are required to read all important instructions and click on ‘Yes’ button. 06) On the next page the candidate must enter either of the required particular like candidate ‘Roll Number’ or ‘Registration ID’.& Select Date of Birth and confirm random image shown in the box. 07) Now the candidate will able to download the e-admit card for UPSC CGGE 1 Exam.   08) In case the candidate face any problem in downloading e-admit card for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination (I), 2021 or show any discrepancy noticed while downloading the e-admit card , the candidate may be informed with details through e-mail: to “[email protected]”. 09) It is advisable & mandatory for the candidate to take print out of ‘IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE’ before downloading the e-ADMITCARD and bring the same along with UPSC e-Admit Card to the examination center.
