The syllabus proves to be the backbone for the preparation of any exam. Be it a school examination or any selection commission examination. To get any service in the government sector in India, a candidate has to pass a competitive examination. In our country, there are two renowned institutions (Union Public Service Commission and Staff Selection Commission) to conduct these examinations. UPSC organizes many competitive examinations every year, but among these examinations, the Indian Civil Services Examination has become more important. Similarly, SSC also organizes competitive examinations to fill a large number of vacancies in government offices. Every year lakhs of candidates work hard to pass these examinations.

Actually, every year both the selection commissions issue a notification for every new examinations to be held. In which the Election Commission discloses all the information related to that examination. Which includes the subject, basis and syllabus of the questions asked in the examination. Before applying for the examination, the candidate should read the notification of the Commission carefully and also know the basis, subject and syllabus of the questions asked in that examination. If possible, take a printout of the syllabus and keep it safe with you. This will help the candidate to conduct his studies systematically and will prove helpful in passing the examination.

Here we have prepared a syllabus by including the topics based on the questions asked in different years. In which all the topics which are frequently asked in the examination are included. Participants are advised to read each and every notification published by the Commission carefully as the Commission may make changes in the syllabus from time to time.
