UPSC releases admit cards for Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2020

UPSC Civil Services Prelims Admit Card 2020 – Union Public Service Commission come out with an official notification for release the admit cards for Civil Services Prelims Exam. UPSC Civil Services Prelims Admit Card 2020 : All the applicants are suppose to download their admit card through the official website of UPSC as the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has already released UPSC Civil Services IAS Prelims Admit Card 2020 on its website. All the applicants can download their e-admit card through the official link provided in the Important Link Area or go to upsc.gov.in and take a printout thereof. It is advisable to all the applicants that the e-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the final results of the Civil Services Prelims Examination, 2020. 

The Union Public Service Commission has released the Civil Services admit cards for preliminary examination 2020 on September 1. UPSC aspirants, who registered for the exams, can download their admit cards from upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in. 

The UPSC preliminary exams are scheduled to be held on October 4. The exams were earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 31, 2020. but were postponed due to the coronavirus-induced pandemic and subsequent lockdown.

How to download the e-admit card

We are mentioning the following step to download the admit card for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2020 easily.

As per the Official Notification, candidates need to enter their registration number and date of birth in space provided at the web site to download the prelims admit card 2020 and follow the strps given below

STEP 1: Go to the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in

STEP 2: Select the link E- Admit Cards. In this page click the link E-Admit Cards for various Examinations of UPSC

STEP 3: Select the link ‘e-Admit Card for various Examination of UPSC ‘. The system is redirected to the page of e-admit Download. Click the link” Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2020” and chick the download button given aside. The Download link is open upto October 4th, 2020 4:00 pm

STEP 4: As the applicant click the Download Link the system is redirected to the final page of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2020. To download the e-admit card click the link mention ‘Click here‘ in the section “To download e-Admit Card”

STEP 5:  As the applicant click the link the system redirected to the page where the commission indicated some instructions. The applicant can take the printout of the instructions and must press yes to continue further. Select

STEP 6: As the applicant press Yes button on this page the system redirected to the page where the applicant has to select the option to access their admit card by clicking either on ‘Registration ID’ or ‘Roll Number’ to download the admit card.

STEP 7:  As the applicant select to download their e-admit card through Registration ID” or “Roll Number”. The applicant must provide their Registration ID” or “Roll Number” along with the Date of Birth of the applicant and fill the captcha code and submit to download their admit card The applicant must take a printout for future reference. It is mandatory for candidates to bring printed admit cards along with important instructions to enter the examination hall.

Check Latest UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2020 Important Instructions:

  1. The Candidates shall have to carry Black Ball Point Pen to fill the Attendance Sheet and OMR Answer Sheets.
  2. The Candidates can carry Simple and Normal wrist watches inside the exam hall.
  3. It is mandatory to Wear of Face Mask / Face Cover for all candidates.
  4. It is mandatory to carry a bottle of Hand Sanitizer in transparent bottle.
  5. The candidates have to follow the norms due to COVID 19 as ‘Social Distancing’ and ‘Personal Hygiene’ inside the Exam Halls, Rooms and premises of the Venue.
  6. Bags and Valuable or costly items are also not allowed inside the Exam Venue.
  7. Mobile Phones or any Electronic Items are not allowed inside the exam hall.

All the candidates are advised to follow the guidelines released by the Union Public Service Commission (Civil Services Prelims Exam) during the exam. Otherwise, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the exam. Candidates are also advised to keep in touch with the official website of the commission to track the latest updates.

As per the latest notice released by the commission regarding the commencement of UPSC Civil Services IAS Prelims 2020. All candidates who are going to appear in UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2020 are advised to go through the Important Instructions led down by the commission and required to take print out of the said important instruction to follow the instructions provided by the commission.
